Parc Científic de Barcelona 2019
Aquest dimecres 9 de gener de 2019 els alumnes de 4t d'ESO de les optatives Física i Química i Ciències Aplicades hem anat al Parc Científic de Barcelona per fer el Taller "Com es fan els medicaments?". Sembla que la valoració en general és bona: hem fet un Taller interessant, hem interactuat amb els investigadors del Parc, hem fet servir material de laboratori, etc... ens agradaria tornar-hi l'any vinent! Gràcies al Parc Científic de Barcelona per aquesta iniciativa!

Preparació de solucions d'aigua i sucre
Continuem treballant la matèria a 3r d'ESO i avui hem anat al laboratori per parlar de mescles homogènies o solucions i preparar-ne: hem afegit a l'aigua diferents quantitats de sucre, i a cada solució l'hem "pintat" amb un colorant alimentari diferent. Al tenir diferents densitats, les 3 solucions no es barregen i el resultat és aquest.

Lab: acid and base challenge
Hi, boys and girls!
Did you like your last practice in the lab? The challenge consisted on guess which substance was on each test-tube: you can use litmus paper, red cabbage juice and your sense of smell! The colours obtained are wonderful and they will help us to predict the susbtances, considering their acid-base properties: bleach? ammonia? hydrochloric acid? Human urine (dilution)?

Acid and base challenge: what is there inside the test-tubes?
Pupils from 4th Physics and Chemistry went to the lab and found 6 test-tube with 6 mysterious substances. They have to guess which substance is in the 6 test-tubes from a list of 12 by using red cabbage juice for knowing if it's an acid or a base (or even a neutral substance) and using litmus paper for having an approximation of its pH.
The results of the experiment are so interesting and very visual!
